Purpose

The purpose of the ORMBC- Job Preparation Ministry is to provide individuals with skills, tools and resources to enhance personal/professional development and job preparation/prospects. The areas of service include:

  • Job readiness training (personal skills, interests/goals assessment, career counseling)
  • Resume review/preparation (cover letter preparation, resume formatting, functional/chronological)
  • Interview preparation (verbal/non-verbal communication, interview tips, appropriate dress, company/organization research)
  • Networking techniques (growing your network, utilizing social networking websites, practical tips)
  • Employment sourcing/job search strategies – (career focus, targeted job search, completing on-line applications, utilization of Internet resources.)

One on one coaching/counseling services are available for youth, teenager, young adults, and adults.
